in the Bible

The Book of Revelation:

Revelation calls Jesus the Lamb 28 times. Rev.5, sings the "New Song" to the Lamb, and then it makes the 7 praises to the Lamb, symbol of perfection, and the 4 praises, symbol of totality. Let's praise the Lamb with Revelation:

"The four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

And they sang a new song: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth."

Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders.

In a loud voice they sang: "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!"

Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, singing: "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!"

The four living creatures said, "Amen," and the elders fell down and worshiped" (Rev.5:8-14).

Philippians 2:5-11:

In praising Jesus with the Bible, it is mandatory to proclaim with St. Paul:

"Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
    Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
    And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-- even death on a cross!
    Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father".

Luke 1:42:

When Virgin Mary arrived to Elisabeth's house with Jesus in Her, Elisabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and cried out with a loud voice the most intimate and poetic praise to Jesus in the Bible:
    1- The most intimate, because the dearest praise you can make to a man is to tell him "blessed is your mother", and Elisabeth claimed, "your mother is the most blessed among women" (Lk.1:42).
    2- And the most poetic, because then she adds, "and blessed is Jesus, the fruit of your womb", and that's poetry (Lk.1:42)

The Hail Mary is then, the most intimate and poetic praise of Jesus in The Bible.

In the second part of the Hail Mary, we pray with Mary to Jesus, and we ask Mary to pray for us sinners in the two most important hours of our life: "now", and "at the hour of our death".

Lets praise Jesus with the Hail Mary:

Hail Mary full of Grace,
the Lord is with thee.
Blessed are thou among women
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus.

Holy Mary Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now
and at the hour of our death Amen.

    At Cana in Jn.2, if only Jesus would have been in that feast, they would have had no wine. Jesus didn't care, His time of making miracles had not yet come! (Jn.2:4). But there was Mary too. And because she asked him, Jesus made the miracle, though his time had not yet come… Jesus even changed the plan of God, because the intercession of his Mother!. It is a place in the Bible where the plan of God was changed (Jn.2:3-8).
    In the wedding feast of our life we should do like the people of Cana: Invite also the mother of Jesus. Just pray 3 Hail Marys at night, and you will see wonders in your life. I have seen them in mine. Do you have a problem of sickness or housing or job or money?… Try Mary!… You are not a Christian, and have problems with your wife or children?… Try Mary, pray 3 Hail Marys!… you don't have to renounce to anything or to believe anything… it costs you nothing, so try Her!… I assure you, in the name of Jesus, you will see wonders in your life. But a warning: The ship of Mary leads only to the shores of the Church of her son Jesus. Life of Jesus

In the Rosary:

    We do a little like the angels and saints do in Heaven, "They say all the time, day and night, without ceasing: `Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God. He has all power. He always has lived. He lives now. And he always will live' " (Rev.4:8)... a little of that we do in the Rosary: We repeat and repeat the praises to Jesus, to the Father, and to the Spirit... holy the Father, holy the Son, holy the Spirit...

    Or as the next verse proclaims, Rev.4:11:  "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power"... Glory to the Father, honor to the Son, power to the Spirit...

    Or as the Church teaches us to pray these several glories of Revelation 4 ad 19, saying: Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

    And, of course, we start every mystery repeating the prayer Jesus taught us in Mat.6:9-13, the prayer to Our Father, the best and most complete prayer in the Bible:

THE OUR FATHER:

Our Father, Who art in Heaven,
hallowed be Thy name;
Thy Kingdom come,
Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread;
and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

    And in every mystery of the Rosary we meditate the 15 most sacred mysteries of Christianity while praying and praising God with Virgin Mary.  That's why the Rosary is an epitome of the whole gospel.
How to Pray the Rosary    Recite the Rosary

    "One day through the Rosary and Scapular I will save the world." Our Lady said these words to St. Dominic, over seven hundred years ago. At Fatima she proclaimed herself Our Lady of the Rosary. At Lourdes, Garabandal and Medjugorgi she came with the Rosary in her hands...

THE DIVINE PRAISES:

They are usually prayed in the Church when the Holy Eucharist is exposed:

Blessed be the Name of Jesus.
Blessed be His Most Sacred Heart.
Blessed be Jesus in the Most Holy Sacrament of the Altar.
