The Bible and the Saints:
The Bible is the written Word of God... the Live of the Saints is the Word of God made flesh in so many ways!.
Each Saint is the word of God made life, by so different people in so many different circumstances... they are an excellent source to stimulate and help us to be Saints, because they were human and sinners, like you and I... and they became Saints!... you and I can also be Saints... like St. Augustine, St. Therese, St, Francis, St. Catherine, St. Ignatius, St. Dominic, St. Jerome... so many thousands, and in so different lives and circumstances... rich and poor people, kings and beggars, professionals and factory workers... all of them sinners, an all of them Saints... any Christian who is not a Saint, is an idiot!.
I read the Bible at least one hour daily, and the life of the patron Saints of every day.
A second thought is that if you ever depressed or very sick, if you ever feel like you are good for nothing, you are still good enough to be a Saint... and to be a Saint is the most a person can be on earth... and in Heaven!
Note of the Author:
I prepared this web page just for me, because I like to read the live of the Saints of the Day. I have some original thoughts on it, but most of it is taken from the best "lives of the Saints" in the Internet
On a second thought I decide to edit it for the
Internet because it may of use to someone else. Please, let me know.
