Saint Bernadine Realino, 1530-1616

    An Italian Lawyer and Medical doctor, chief tax collector and mayor of Cassine, Italy.

    He became a Jesuit and worked for the poor and the slave.

    One of the more interesting miracles attributed to him concerned his small pitcher of wine which did not give out until everyone present had had enough.

The Visitation of the Blessed Virgin

    Archbishop Plunkett from Ireland was arrested and imprisoned in Dublin Castle in 1679, but his trial was moved to London. After deliberating for 15 minutes, a jury found him guilty of fomenting revolt. He was hanged, drawn and quartered in July 1681.
