Blessed Antoni Julian Nowowiejski, 1858-1941

 Archbishop of Plock, Poland. One of the 108 Polish Martyrs of World War II.
Born 1858
Died martyred in 28 May 1941 at Dzialdowo death camp
Beatified 13 June 1999 by Pope John Paul II at Warsaw, Poland

St. Mary Ann of Jesus of Paredes (1614-1645)

From Ecuador, she joined the Secular Franciscans and led a life of prayer and penance at home. She established in Quito a clinic and a school for Africans and indigenous Americans. When a plague broke out, she nursed the sick and died shortly thereafter.

Saint Germanus of Paris, St. Germain, 496-576
Bishop and patron of Paris, "Father of the Poor"

    Cured King Childebert I from an unnamed illness, and converted him from a misspent life. The king then built him the abbey of Saint Vincent, now known as Saint-Germain-des-Pres.

Died 576 of natural causes
